Benefits of wine
Beyond the simple pleasure of enjoying a well-balanced glass of wine, studies have shown that drinking wine in moderation has numerous health benefits. Here’s a sampling of some of the various benefits that have been attributed to moderate wine consumption.
- Moderate alcohol intake, including wine, has been associated with reduced risk of heart disease.1
- Red wine contains phenolics which are well known anti-oxidants.2
